How to Change a Domain Name in DirectAdmin

Important: Websites using a CMS such as WordPress may require additional configuration after a domain change.

To rename a domain:

  1. Navigate to Account Manager --> Domain Setup.
  2. Click Rename Domain.
  3. Select the domain and enter the new domain name.
  4. Save the changes.

The new domain must be a valid domain name with a valid extension (TLD).
