How to Password-Protect the WordPress Admin Directory
In DirectAdmin, navigate to:
Advanced Features --> Password-Protected Directories
Click ADD PROTECTED DIRECTORY next to the desired domain.
You will then need to:
- Set a realm name
- Select the directory path
- Create a username and password
The realm name is shown in the browser authentication prompt when accessing the protected directory.
