How to Verify Google Search Console with a TXT Record
Google Search Console can verify domain ownership by checking a TXT record added to your DNS settings.
To add the verification TXT record:
- Navigate to Account Manager --> DNS Management.
- Click
Add Record. - Select TXT Record.
- Enter the hostname provided by Google.
- Enter the verification value provided by Google.
- Save the record.
Optional
You can temporarily lower the TTL value to help DNS changes propagate more quickly.
After DNS propagation is complete, return to Google Search Console and complete the verification process.
