How to Change the WordPress Domain Name
Changing a WordPress domain involves more than simply renaming the domain in DirectAdmin. After the domain has been changed, the website URLs stored inside WordPress must also be updated.
This can be done by:
- Updating the WordPress settings
- Using tools such as Elementor's URL replacement feature
- Updating the database directly
Warning: Always create a database backup before making direct database changes.
